Lets Live Local community cookbooks

Lets Live Local was set up to help people meet their basic needs from within their community. I was a Director from 2010 to 2018 and took the graphic design lead on most projects. This included The Slow Sunday Cookbook and Ready Steady Veggie, recipe books which brought together the favourite meals of local residents.

While Ready Steady Veggie was illustrated by the delightful and often terrifying drawings of local schoolchildren, I illustrated The Slow Sunday Cookbook with simple digital drawings that took inspiration from the seasonal recipes.

I also designed Lets Live Local marketing materials, including subscription drives for the veg bag scheme and posters and leaflets for events such as Tap Roots, an outdoor storytelling event about trees.
