Floral ampersand

I suspect that almost every designer harbours a not-so-secret love of ampersands. If you’ve ever been cornered by one insistent on informing you that ampersand used to be the 27th letter of the alphabet, you’ll know what I mean. 

I love ampersands not just for their beautiful and seemingly endless variations, but because they symbolise the building of ideas and connections, the “Yes, and…”

This drawing is inspired by the summer flowers that grow around my family home in Moffat, Dumfries & Galloway.
